Henry Downes Pub, which was established in 1759, has a proud history as a thriving spirit merchant in Waterford City. The Downes pattern is made up of traditional cut types, namely karo and rosettes.
With its name derived from the Irish translation fort of the rock, the Dunhill collection expresses this meaning with a symmetrical series of vertical cuts rising up from a band of diagonal cuts, referred to as karo cutting.
